Getting Out the News in McDowell County, North Carolina

Old Fort News
Old Fort News from 1927 - 1931 was a center page of news in the Marion Progress. Social tidbits about the 3,500 citizens of Old Fort township appeared in the Old Fort News. Editor was Gertrude Dula (1884-1931) a milliner and native of Old Fort.
