Several months ago I noted a post about NC LIVE having genealogy resources and finally got around to checking it out for myself.
On the ‘About
NC LIVE’ webpage, they describe the site as being created in 1997 and
supporting 200 and more libraries in North Carolina. Online content, to name a
few categories that includes text articles, eBooks, streaming videos, newspapers
and more.
NC Live can
be accesses through internet connections at home or through your local library.
What do you
need to access NC Live?
Local
Library – go to your local library and use one of their internet-connected
computers. Ask an employee for assistance.
At Home –
you will need a library card from your local library and the access code for NC
Live. Again, speak with your librarian.
The first
time you log in, plan for this time to be exploration to familiarize yourself
with the site and all the great resources the site offers.
